OCZ Breaks 766 MHz DDR2 Barrier
2004-08-20

OCZ Technology Group has made another leap in the new revolutionary DDR2 memory segment. Recently, OCZ has surpassed 766 MHz at 4-5-5 timings on an experimental DFI 915 based board. (For full details, click here)

"OCZ is proud to be pushing the DDR2 speed boundary," said Dr. Michael Schuette, Director of Technology Development at OCZ Technology Group. "OCZ consistently spends considerable resources on developing DDR2 modules geared towards achieving outrageous speeds. OCZ DDR2 running at 766MHz marks a significant milestone on the path toward DDR2-800 modules."

DDR2 is now available in OCZ's Platinum series with Enhanced Bandwidth, Performance series, and our Value series. The OCZ DDR2 product lines offer significantly lower latencies than the JEDEC standard timings. For more information on OCZ DDR2 products, please visit the product pages here.
