 New ReaperX Kits Prove to Be an Overclocker's Dream!

"We first wanted to get the largest FSB from the stock timings which are 4-4-3-10. With this we got a solid 844MHz. We were truly surprised as we played a few missions of Crysis. Next, we stepped the timings down to a modest 5-5-5-18 which we see on a lot of DDR2 kits. We were just as impressed here as we topped 1122MHz. And this was done at 2.2 volts."

From Legion Hardware: 1100MHz Overclock!
?Keeping the ultra tight DDR2 4GB timings of CAS4-4-3-15, we were able to reach 888MHz using 2.2v on the Gigabyte P35-DS4 motherboard. This increased the memory bandwidth from 5.9GB/s to 6.7GB/s, which was a 14% increase in bandwidth. While this is quite impressive, we were able to juice more out of these modules, a lot more in fact. By loosening the timings to CAS5-5-5-15 we were able to achieve a memory bandwidth of 7.1GB/s, which was a 20% increase over the DDR2-800 configuration thanks to a 1110MHz operating frequency.?
