Sunnyvale, CA—January 21, 2008—OCZ Technology Group, Inc. a worldwide leader in innovative, ultra-high performance and high reliability memory, PC components, and system builds, has appointed Justin A. Shong as Vice President of Worldwide Sales with immediate effect. He replaces Richard Singh, who has left the Group.

Mr. Shong will develop sales strategies for the consumer and commercial markets, as well as providing leadership to global sales team. Although not a Board appointment, he will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing key channel and customer relationships, while developing new prospects.

Mr. Shong has more than twenty years experience in the technology industry, fifteen of which spent in executive sales roles. He most recently served as Vice President of Sales for GBH Communications, a leading video conferencing provider. Prior to that he was National Sales Manager at Acer America Corporation, a leading global PC manufacturer, and was responsible for all sales of Acer products into the U.S. market. During his tenure at Acer, U.S. sales grew from $200 million to $1 billon. He has also served in various senior management and sales roles at companies such as Quantum3D, Savoir Technologies, Avnet, Synnex, SGI, and Western Micro Technologies.
