Wow - Thanks OCZ!
I picked up two 1 GB OCZ DDR2 6400s last night along with a new ABIT KN9 SLI mobo, a new AMD X2 6400 and an EVGA 8800 GTS. Of course it doesn't boot and I get the memory "you suck!" beep - but thats not why Im emailing.

After exhausting my bag of tricks I gave up for the night. What I should have done was to fire up the beater laptop and google. It was a pleasent surprise to discover this morning at work, that not only does OCZ have an amazing web presence but their support forums are well attended and (gasp)actual staff answer questions and problems very responsively. I mean I found you answering OCZ related questions on OTHER forums. I bet if I actually call the phone # listed on support homepage I'll actually talk to a real person.

In all the years I've been custom building, this, from a memory company is all ... unheard of. Too early to claim victory, but now I can't wait to get home and actually try all the things I've dug up from your forums. If nothing else, I'll be taking the mobo back, but not the RAM. You've gained a new customer. Whatever you guys are doing, please keep it up.

Flash Drive Frenzy
Dear OCZ,

I just spent the last day frantically looking for my 4GB flash drive in my house. I arrived home to find it at the bottom of my washing machine! I ripped it out of there and brought it up to my computer and dried it out for about ten minutes and lo and behold it worked! I just want to let you know that I absolutely LOVE my OCZ flash drive and I thought that you might want to know that your product survived a washing machine.

Sincerely,

Matt Breitel

Thanks for the Memories
Hello guys.

I just want to say a BIG FREAKIN’ THANK YOU to you both for helping me out with the replacement of my broken OCZ memories. I have received the package from Jeffrey and it all works perfect. I also bought another pair of the same kind so now I have 4GB of total super-memory *SMILE*. I have NEVER EVER seen a company take such care of the customers. Not even a doubt from your side, not even the slightest hassle to get the kit replaced with another one.

THANK YOU !!!

Regards Benny (From Sweden)

Service Expierence
Having just seen your advertisement in the latest PC Gamer, I was reminded of my experience with your customer support team that I had a couple months back.

My power supply had failed, so after checking to see if it was still under warranty I called the support line. The person who picked up was courteous and it was refreshing to feel like I was talking to someone who actually was listening to what was going on. The service rep set me up with a replacement power supply that arrived at my house in quite a timely manner. (Golden State Overnight)

Thanks for being so excellent at what you do!

All I can say is WOW! What customer service!
"Many of the companies in business today offer really good products, but lack the emphasis of good customer care. They rely solely on the product for there success. Which in time will lead to failure. Because with a bad customer experience comes NO repeat business, along with internet bashing’s in forums and bad reviews, which can sway the minds of future clients to shop else where.

Then you have the company that has a really good customer support staff, but a "not so good" product, which no one wants to buy, because it falls short of the customer’s expectations, or never works to begin with. Even if customer support, tries to solve the problem by refunding, repairing or replacing a product, (even with a brand new one, they are limited only to what the company has invested in to the product itself. Which, unless changed through company manufacturing management, will still be a bad product. Then in the end) you still have an unhappy customer, who feels they have wasted their time and hard earned money. This business strategy too, will fail.

I myself have worked in retail and customer service in the past, and understand this delicate balance, between investing in the products you make and the quality of the staff you can hire to support your product. In my experience there only a handful of companies that strive to do what your company does, offer great products, backed with A++ customer support and service. Ultimately it goes hand in hand, a symbiotic relationship; one does not succeed without the other. If all companies were like this in America I would not see Americans shopping from companies overseas for world class products (Ferrari, SONY, etc) but rather them shopping from USA.

Thank you again for your support and kindness,
OZC today, OZC ALWAYS!!!!"

Survival story of an OCZ Mini-Kart
"About 2 weeks ago I thought that I had lost my 2GB OCZ Mini-Kart. Just this evening I was getting ready to iron my shirts for work when I noticed something in the breast pocket. What was it? My mini-kart. It had been washed three times at least at 30 degrees (C) and ironed as many times. So I decided that I may as well plug it in and see what would happen. It is working perfectly! What do you guys make these out of! ;)Keep up the good work.

Performance my systenm was started here!
A few (say 7) months ago (and not a lot of money), i have to make a choice between very poor RAM-modules: PQI and Micron, each 1024 mb and 533MHz and each between $25 and $40... And i choose the PQI ($25), going to my home, open my computer-case put this ''poor-thing'' on my motherboard, try to start the
computer...waiting...nothing. After 4 restarts: he's started normal. Because im a gamer and tweaker i have to test how fast this ''poor-things can be. Starting a low on requirements game (it was Red Alert 2) and when im clicking on a button 3 seconds later it wil be seen by the RAM. Now, 7 months and 3 weeks later i got the OCZ PC2 8500 SLI Ready RAM with 1066MHz, and it can take the most recently games, included directX10 games. To make a long story a few shorter, ican only say this:
OCZ, take the lead in Random Acces Memory-land and give other makers of poor memory-sticks (not to say that Corsair and Kingston are bad, but this is better, up to 15% [see it in many tests). OCZ the leading leader in RAM LAND !!!! makes so many peoples more than happy, they freakin' out!!!!!! 5 star-quallity.
