Please refer to the table below to determine motherboard compatibility with OCZ's DDR Booster: Notes:- Use of the DDR Booster with certain chipsets/motherboards may limit maximum DIMM population.
- VTT mod may be needed to reach above 3.0 VDIMM
- Power supply quality may affect DDR Booster performance and stability.
- DDR Booster power adapter may not fit all Levicom Power Supply models due to Levicom's use of a non-standard ATX adapter.
- Power supplies used in conjunction with the DDR Booster must support a -5V line in order for the LED readout to function.
- The OCZ Booster requires a 20-Pin ATX connector and will not work with power supplies that have 24-Pin connectors
The following notes apply to the DFI NF4 SLI-DR, UT NF4 SLI-D, UT NF4 SLI-DR, UT NF4 Ultra-D and UT NF4-D:- All testing was conducted using the 520w Modstream and all current Powerstream PSU models utilizing the 20+4 pin (split type 24 pin) motherboard connector. The 20 pin section was plugged into the booster and the detachable 4 pin was plugged into the motherboard power connector, giving the required 24 pin connection power supply connection as specified by DFI.
- It is possible to use only the 20 pin connection provided by the DDR Booster and to ignore the additional 4 pins on the motherboard power connector. This however is not approved by DFI and you do so at your own risk.
- Additionally, although our testing has yielded excellent results, OCZ cannot be responsible for any damage that may occur from the use or mis-use of the DDR booster on the DFI boards. Your warranty with DFI may be voided by the use of the DDR Booster.
- In addition, the booster requires a PSU that has a -5v line available at the motherboard power connector. This wire is ?white? according to the ATX specification. If you do not have the -5v line, the booster display will not work and the booster power circuit also may not function properly.
