The OCZ Vanquisher aggressively cools your CPU thanks to a pure copper base plate and three copper heat pipes that rapidly transfer heat away from the processor up to the dense, aluminum fin array where the thermal load is quickly dissipated by the included 92mm fan. The efficient heatpipe design moves so much heat that the fin array is able to transfer up to 200 Watts. The Vanquisher also utilizes a unique low speed fan securely mounted to the fins to effectively decrease noise, ensuring minimal distractions at your workstation.

The extremely compact and versatile OCZ Vanquisher CPU cooler is compatible with sockets AMD 754/939/AM2 and Intel 775. Because no motherboard back plate is required, the hassle-free Vanquisher is installed quickly and easily for all skill types. With no need to remove your motherboard to install this cooler, the OCZ Vanquisher can get right to work cooling your CPU and enhancing your computing experience.

* Although the Vanquisher has been qualified for these processors for performance and compatibility, it may not fit some motherboards

"The production of the cooler is flawless, the noise level is excellent and the price performance ratio more than good. Low priced and effective CPU cooler!"

Techgage
"The Vanquisher is a great option for silent cooling on a budget. In fact, even under full load on our test rig, the Vanquisher kept our 65-watt CPU at positively chilly temperatures. We'd recommend this cooler for users who value silence, though we have no doubt that the Vanquisher could support a respectable overclock in exchange for a slight increase in noise. Overall, we feel that the OCZ Vanquisher is an excellent value, and definitely deserves your highest consideration where excellent thermal performance with low noise is desired."

Modders Inc.
"The Vanquisher has a great look and I love the design of the cage style fan mount / grill. This should fit into just about any configuration within reason. I left the Vanquisher on the test rig to see how it would do under the systems normal duty. It rarely gets close to 40C and normally runs in the low to mid 30's at the core and CPU sensors. Coming in at just under $30, the Vanquisher does a decent job for the price."

Tech Gear
"The Vanquisher is so quiet that we would actually class it as 'silent' when it operates along with the rest of your setup. We'd recommend this product for users who like some silence, but don't uncompromisingly overclock their systems, though the Vanquisher would not have problems with users who do. We think the Vanquisher is a great offering from OCZ and definitely value for money. It's a cooler you should consider if you aren't an aggressive overclocker and you like some peace and quiet."

Total Tuning (France)
"After the presentation, the installation and the tests carried out, we can thus draw a conclusion on the design, the functionality and the performances. Let us speak then about its performances, which are more than satisfactory. Indeed, Vanquisher obtains with our tests very low temperatures compared to the cooling of origin. This is an excellent cooling for CPU, at a very competitive price."

X-bit Labs
"The OCZ Vanquisher proved to be a well-made inexpensive cooler in my tests. It is efficient, universal, simple to install, light, and very affordable. In other words, it's got all the properties you expect to find in a product of its price."

Overclockers Club
"The OCZ Vanquisher CPU cooler achieves very good performance at a reasonable price. The fan is very quiet at full speed (2400 RPM). Overall, the Vanquisher is a very good product for the price. For the entry level overclocker, it will allow enough headroom to start experimenting with overclocking while not breaking the bank. With the multiple applications, covering just about all current chips, this cooler could go through a few system refreshes and still perform better than the stock cooling solution. If you are looking for an alternative to the stock heatsink so you can begin the journey into the world of overclocking or just want better cooling without having to spend a fortune, the OCZ Vanquisher has you covered."

CHIP Magazine (Turkey)
"OCZ's reasonably price cooler deserves every penny you spend. Vanuqisher performs 19C better than Intel stock cooler. 29$ is a bargain for this cooler. Copper base and 3 Heatpipes transfer the heat to aluminum fins, and installation is very easy for both Intel and AMD systems."

Techgage: CPU Cooler Roundup
"OCZ's budget entry in the cooler world is the Vanquisher. It uses a simple design and an 80mm fan to get the job done. As it uses the Intel push-pin design for mounting, it is simple to install as well. It is compact and moderately priced but don't let that fool you. It packs quite the punch. For their price range, they are amazing coolers. They were able to beat quite a bit of the competition while remaining the cheapest on the market."

Hardware.info (Netherlands): Budget Game PC
"In our last CPU cooler test, OCZ actually surprised us with the Vanquisher, which gave us considerably better cooling performance than the ‘boxed’ coolers. In cooling capacity as well as the low noise aspect. Simply the perfect choice for the luxury PC system."
