"It's definitely a nice looking hard drive, for what that's worth. The brushed aluminum exterior definitely lends itself to a high-tech look. Obviously the OCZ 64GB SSD use much less power than the full sized 3.5" drives for desktop machines. The OCZ 64GB SSD is essentially silent at all times. It has no spinning parts and works just like system memory or the memory card in your camera. The very obvious strong spot for the OCZ 64GB SSD is the pure speed it demonstrated in random access times. This is definitely a part for the true PC enthusiast that demands the absolute best."

The interface used is SATA I instead of SATA II, however it doesn’t affect the performance. Transfer is about 50 MB/s and it’s comparable to modest traditional drives. OCZ drive performs great in server tests. Short access time allows SSD to do 20 times more operations than traditional HDD.”
