"With a price tag of only $120, OCZ's memory will give you plenty of headroom for overclocking. And backed by a lifetime warranty, even with increased voltage, this stuff should be at the top of your list when shopping around. I was extremely impressed with the results, and more impressed with the fact that it whooped up on the Corsair that I've been using."

"We all know by now who OCZ are and what they offer. OCZ have been one of the biggest names in extreme overclocking products for quite some time now. They base their products around pure performance, enthusiasts and overclocking artists...OCZ has managed to provide perfectly for both platforms with high speed DDR-2 for the Pentium 4 market, and low latency, high speed DDR for the AMD64...The modules work well, no stability issues were noticed, the extra voltage is handy for overclocking and as always the OCZ modules are stylish and attractive in appearance."

?Many people complained about not having a performance boost with the first DDR2 modules on the market over ?old? DDR400, however, with OCZ?s PC2-5400 Gold modules, you can finally reach the top thanks to its low latency and great overclocking ability. Did we say that you get all that for under $150 for 1 GB? Get in the right gear and pick up OCZ?s memory for some serious performance.?

"OCZ's reputation of having the best computer enthusiast memory on the market is once again personified in their PC2-5400 Gold Series modules. Able to run at over 100MHz higher than its rated speed while maintaining its enhanced latency and without voiding its lifetime warranty, these memory modules have the potential to offer some serious performance. Given that it is also the lowest priced memory of the three, the OCZ Gold is also the best value in high performance PC2-5400 memory."

"Gold DDR2 represents the third rung in OCZ's performance series memory. The current retail price for a 1GB Dual-Channel kit (2x 512MB) is very reasonable. Especially once you consider that the modules have a lifetime warranty and their potential to perform well beyond rated specifications."

"Now, all you non overclockers out there that simply want some good memory, go for it. This is 100% compatible, high performance and extreme stable memory, next tot hat this memory is very competitive at its price level as you'll likely be able to run is as CAS 3 also. These gorgeous 2x512 MB memory modules with 4-4-4-8 timings can be bought at just 150 USD and that is just a beautiful price...When it comes to memory, timings and frequency my friends are vital, the faster the better. You can see that in titles like Doom 3, Half Life 2 and Halo will benefit from this increase in system memory bandwidth. The memory itself is well built, it has the nice flashy Gold heat spreader and a solid design. Backed up by a life-time warrantee (even with high voltage levels)...This RAM is dreadfully fast, very stable, and extremely overclockable with the right mobo and CPU. Highly recommended!"

"Using a Pentium 4 as reference platform, it's almost obvious to choose DDR2 as typology of memory, since multimedia contents benefit very much of the increased bandwidth it offers. The OCZ solution, thanks to their enhanced 4-4-4-8 latencies, not only can offer all the bandwith we like (thanks to the support of the DDR2-667
specification, that our Gigabyte i915P Duo board unofficialy present) but also have the lowest latencies available for this type of memory, which is always welcomed if gaming on Media Center is a concern. So, although of course they find a perfect placement in high performances
gaming systems, selecting them to assemble a Multimedia System is withouth any doubt a win-win scenario. Great work, OCZ!!!"

"The OCZ PC2-5400 is an excellent memory with very good performance at all speeds. We were very pleased to see that the warranty is still valid even if the voltage is set to 2.2V. The reported results at 667Mhz, in our benchmarks, were very good and we can safely say that the OCZ PC2-5400 is a product that we would highly recommended for all overclocking enthusiasts!"
