OCZ DDR2 PC2-9600 / 1200 MHz / Reaper HPC Edition / Dual Channel
The Reaper HPC is an innovative patent-pending cooling solution developed by OCZ to effectively minimize heat produced by high-speed memory. As heat rises into the thermo-conductive copper heat pipe conduit, it is dissipated through the strategically-placed compact aluminum fin array. By guiding performance-robbing heat away from key memory components, the unique Reaper HPC design helps facilitate improved overclocking performance, while improving longevity and stability of the modules.
The PC2-9600 Reaper Series is rated at a blazing 1200MHz and run at CL 5-5-5-18. Featuring Enhanced Performance Profiles (EPP) on NVIDIA nForce platforms, the PC2-9600 Reaper series also features an additional performance profile to run 5-5-5-15 timings at 1177Mhz. As part of OCZ's line-up of premium memory, the OCZ Reaper modules are backed by a Lifetime Warranty and industry-leading technical support.
IMPORTANT NOTE: OCZ is currently transitioning to a new Reaper HPC heatsink. As of October 2008 the new versions have shipped out and are currently in the retail channel.
