**XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection) heatspreaders optimize the thermal management of memory modules by promoting greater airflow by means of micro-convection throughout what is usually the dead air space inside conventional heatspreader designs. In this manner, build-up of heat is avoided and thermal dissipation of the memory components is offloaded more efficiently through the honeycomb design. CPU3D "I was really impressed like these OCZ DDR3-1066 Gold Series 2Gb Kits. Although they're aimed at the mainstream market, I was very surprised by its overall perfromance and overclocking ability. To my surprise these modules were very overclockable. Using an Asus P5K3 Deluxe motherboard and and an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor, I was able to overclock these modules to 667Mhz ... that's DDR3-1333 spec, with excellent stability. If you've got the cash and you're ready to go all out on DDR3, then these DDR3-1066 2Gb kits from OCZ are well worth considering.
