Reviewing the numbers, OCZ's memory can definitely hold its own. While it wasn't able to compete at the same speeds the ability for it to scale up to 488 MHz had me double checking my configuration and rerunning the tests with the same results. It is mind boggling to see OCZ's newest ram run so fast. What is not shown on these charts is the speed improvements gained from the ability to cache massive files, which depending on your workload can speed up the computer by an order of magnitude.

This kit offers a whopping 2 GIGs of DDR Dual Channel Memory. The average computer user only needs 1GIG for current Operating Systems, Applications & Games. Although some users who require extreme multitasking, or use super memory intensive software, will definitely use it. The timings are a little high at 3-3-3-8 but it does overclock to 490MHz DDR.
