Legit Reviews We were happy to hit 560MHz DDR with PC-4200 memory! This is almost PC-4500 performance and past the point at which most processors will run 1:1 ratios!

3DGameMan OCZ EL DDR PC-4200 Dual Channel Memory has a default speed of 533MHz DDR and the timings are CL 2.5-4-4-7. Together this means blistering-fast memory results. Also, overclockers will love this memory because speeds of 280MHz and beyond are very achievable. Not only is it highly overclockable but it's stable, quality memory that will work in any computer system. Watch the Video to find out more...

PC Stats If you've got an Intel rig and are looking to add 1GB of some good fast memory, there's basically nothing better on the market!

Anandtech Without a doubt, OCZ has produced the fastest DDR memory ever tested at AnandTech. It is rated at DDR533 and performs at that speed using better than rated timings. The highest stable overclock of the 4200EL was an astounding 280FSB at 1:1 or synchronous settings. At the other end of the scale, OCZ 4200EL performs at the Intel chipset rated DDR400 using fast CAS 2 timings.

Madshrimps OCZ's EL4200 exceeds its default speed, and by quite a bit. OCZ Technology is now poised to release PC4500, and this memory easily attained that goal, and even surpassed it. OCZ EL4200 is completely stable at 280FSB or 560MHz, and I was able to run the memory at CAS-2.5 under PAT's most aggressive settings (Turbo) on the P4C800E-Deluxe at 280FSB under all circumstances. This is apparent in the benchmarks.

Driver Heaven This is some of the best memory you can buy, and I'm looking forward to seeing some CAS2 rated ram in the future that can run at 500MHz+ and beyond.

CDR Info The OCZ PC-4200EL is referred as a ?Universal High-Speed Memory? according to the official OCZ press release. It offers what it promises, memory speeds up to DDR558+Mhz (depending the M/B and memory voltage) and lower memory timings than any other PC4200/4300/4400 memory kits currently sold.
Overall, the OCZ PC-4200EL is a product we would highly recommended for all overclocker enthusiasts!

Sharky Extreme OCZ has provided enthusiast-level DDR that not only overclocks up to 533 MHz, but also competes well against other high-end PC3200 at 400 MHz. The differential memory timings is a key feature, and the ability to run at CL2.5 to 533 MHz and ratchet that down to CL2 for 400 MHz operation, gives OCZ a dual-pronged attack that few can match.
