OCZ EL DDR PC-4200 memory modules are referred to by the industry as "Universal High-Speed Memory." Early high-speed DDR modules were able to run well at high frequencies, but when run at lower frequencies, like 400MHz, performed much worse than a standard 400MHz module because users would still be stuck with slower timings used in high-speed operation. OCZ EL DDR PC-4200 memory modules, however, can not only run at a blistering 533MHZ with a CL of 2.5, but can also run at 400MHz with aggressive CL 2 timings!
Every Dual Channel Kit from OCZ is hand tested as a matched pair across a wide variety of motherboards to ensure flawless performance on most motherboards.
