Pro-Clockers "The new Reaper X gave us some fabulous timings at remarkable bandwidth. We were benching right alone at 4-4-3-10 at 844MHz. And this was all done on a four gig kit. And for those that arent into tight timing and just like to see gross FSB numbers, we achieved 1122MHz at 5-5-5-18. These factors gave us enough to satisfy Vista needs as well as gaming needs. The new heat spreaders are pretty nice as well. Seriously, these are one sweet set of sticks."

Legion Hardware "Given the timings that these modules are rated at and capable of, combined with the impressive ReaperX HPC heatsink, we feel that these modules are very much worth the asking price. This new OCZ ReaperX HPC memory looks far more impressive and the quality of the heatsink design is excellent. TweakTown "OCZ Technology have really pushed their line of overclocking memories, and without a doubt they have really impressed us here. The Reaper series with heatpipe cooling helps cool the modules a lot better than the standard heatsinks. While our modules we tested today don?t utilize water, the heatsink design has done a fantastic job nonetheless; the modules ran rather cool at full speed overclocking. Overall the OCZ ReaperX PC2-6400 Kit is extremely impressive, and is ideally aimed at users who want lower latencies out of their DDR2-800 kit with the ability to overclock. Also, if you?re wanting to use the EPP feature in conjunction with an NVIDIA chipset, you have that option too."

DriverHeaven "Starting with the OCZ ReaperX modules we moved the voltage to 2.2v which is the maximum supported under warranty and began raising the speed at default timings. At these settings we were able to reach 862MHz. Next we loosened the timings to 5-5-5-15 and attempted to boot at DDR2-1066. We encountered no problems and so then tried to find the maximum speed at these timings; the result was DDR2-1100."

OverClock Intelligence Agency "Before doing any real testing, I just checked things out, how my system performed with 4 gigs of memory. The improvements were easily noticed; Vista loaded faster and performed better. I had bought Crysis a few days before, and had played it probably 8 hours or so. After installing the ReaperX, it felt like my rig really opened up and started to breathe. The game loaded in half the time and individual levels loaded nearly instantly. The OCZ ReaperX HPC PC2-6400 4 gig kit is impressive indeed. It also overclocked beyond my expectations, to DDR2-1059. I'm quite pleased with its overclocking performance; getting over 32% overclock at stock voltage is pretty impressive."

Virtual-Hideout "The heatspreaders performed well and no excessive heat was noticed when the voltage and FSB were raised up. The overall design is sleek and the contrast of the matte black finish compliments the silver heatpipe and fins. Price verses performance has always been the number #1 question when buying anything in life. Well, OCZ has taken at least one thing off our minds by providing us with a performance-orientated product with a low price tag. The low latency and higher clock speeds is what it's all about. So, if you still have good hardware that runs all of today's games and applications, I suggest sticking with DDR2 and picking up a OCZ PC2-6400 800 MHz ReaperX HPC Enhanced Bandwidth 4GB Dual Channel Memory Kit. You won't be sorry."

Tygodnik Komputerowy Magazine (Poland) ?You cannot refuse their good look. Memories overclocked very nicely for a 4GB kit. Results seem very good for this memory capacity. We can surely recommend these memories to people that search high clocks at CL5 ? that means Intel owners, and those who need such large memory capacity.?

Phoronix "With its dual copper heatpipes and larger aluminum fin array that almost doubles the effective surface area of the original Reaper HPC, the ReaperX HPC is simply great. We were able to push this memory from its DDR2-800MHz stock frequency up past DDR2-1066MHz with ease. For those concerned about aesthetics, the ReaperX memory looks fantastic."

59 Hardware (France) "We took a close look into the performances of the cooling system and were not deceived! The cooling system produced by OCZ works perfectly. With a direct memory cooler, temperatures are only 34°C during a burn under 2.6 Volts! A great product for overclocking, as many others are looking for a 4G kit. For Vista 64 users that want to overclock the memory as well there is simply no better memory than the ReaperX!?

Tech Power Up! OCZ has managed to create another very unique and well performing series with the ReaperX. The 4 GB kit performs exeptionally well at the intended CL rating. The design of the spreaders looks great and surely does cool the memory better with than without. Overall the ReaperX has some impressive performance for a 4 GB Kit.

CDRinfo "While the memory is rated "only" at 800MHz (PC2-6400), it proved to be capable of reaching up to 1100MHz. The 2x2GB kit promises CL4 at 800MHz with 2.00V, which was confirmed in our tests using an Asus Maximus Formula motherboard. Rising up voltage to 2.20V will also get a CL5 at 1000MHz and at 1067Mhz. The included memory cooling system called ReaperX HPC (Heat Pipe Conduit) is also a pleasant add-on and from our small experience, it seems to effectively keeping memory modules cool, even when overclocking. Anyway we have no problem suggesting this memory kit to anyone who needs a 2x2GB module, especialy if if you are running any x64 operating system. The modules are available for $160, and hopefully they will become your companion for quite some time. Nice product OCZ."
