Lab 501 (Romania) "I am glad that OCZ had the courage to take risks with this kit of memory in a regressive market and I think the Blade Series launch was a global launch, for both DDR2 and DDR3. It is a product that gives the competition serious work to do. 1350MHz 5-5-5 - This is without a doubt the best overclocking available. Simply awesome!"

Fudzilla "Of course we tested the modules with the Everest memory benchmark tool. As you can see the modules run always at the same speed with the same settings. There are no big differences to see. While you do not get a speed boost compared to other modules, it makes a difference in power-consumption and heat. When you have a small case or like to keep cool inside your case, this modules are for you."

ZWAME (Portugal) "Even if only operating at 1.85 V, which was not my case, OCZ continues to give assurance about the product, which is also positive. The aluminum heatsinks are pretty solid and the weight they give a sense of quality. In the benchmarks, there is an increase in performance between DDR 1066 and DDR 1150, which is also good."

PC Games Hardware (Germany) "DDR2 overclocking RAM at it's very best - we were indeed able to achieve the promised 1150MHz with just 1.8V. With 1.9V, we even gained DDR2-1240. Neither Memtest86+ nor Prime95 were able to detect stability issues. Bottom line: Extreme overclocking potential with low voltages secures the number one spot in our DDR2 ranking. It's the first choice for overclockers."

Tech Radar OCZ's Blade is a perfectly serviceable kit, and an overclocker's dream. We happily cranked it up as far as it would go, and got a 20 per cent increase in memory bandwidth, and a 20 per cent decrease in latency. Those are good things. Very good things. The memory has a low voltage of 1.80v, which keeps it from getting too hot even if it's overclocked. If you're into overclocking, and want to extend your PC's performance by a few more frames, it's an excellent choice."
