Pro-Clockers "The final conclusion was a very satsifying 1852MHz.In this case it is the OCZ Reaper kit that has impressed us. Even at its default 1600MHz it is faster than what most of us would need to eliminate ram from being any kind of bottleneck to our overclocking. But none of us are satsified with default. So, in the realm of overclocking we also achieved very decent numbers in the form of 1852MHz. This overclock was done without injecting insane amounts of voltage in the the DIMMs and never messing with the timings. OCZ has a real winner on their hands with this kit."

PC World Komputer (Poland) “OCZ Reaper series stands out with a big and well designed heatspreader with heatpipes. We tested PC3-12800 kit so the modules are able to work as DDR3 1600MHz. Reaper HPC 1600 showed their skills at very beggining of our test. They worked really well as DDR3-1333 thanks to very short timings. After increasing the voltage up to 2V, Reapers were stable with 1804 MHz clock and aggressive timings [CL7]. At 8-8-8 timings they were stable at 1860 MHz at 1,97V. OCZ Reaper HPC PC-12800 is a perfect choice for overclocking fans.”

CPU Magazine: DDR Deathmatch "This is a 4GB kit made up of two 2GB modules. That’s much better for folks looking to run Vista on a high-performance machine. It doesn’t boast the raw clock speed of OCZ’s 2GHz SLI-Ready solution, but lower timings help make up for the frequency gap. OCZ prepares the Reaper kit for additional voltage by outfitting it with a fancy cooling solution, HPC (heatpipe conduit). DDR3 is still too pricey to be considered a value, but relatively speaking, OCZ’s Reaper modules are a much better buy. The overall result of taking the 4GB route is quantifiably better system performance. Although the Reaper HPC kit runs at 1,600MHz, it finished our H.264 conversion, virus scan, and Photoshop photo filter benchmarks faster than the higher-frequency kit—and delivered comparable throughput at a lower cost per gigabyte. We were able to push the 1,600MHz kit up to 1,866MHz by loosening up timings just slightly to 8-8-8."

PC Magazine (Russia) “The category of PC3-12800 DDR3-1600 has a leader – the OCZ3RPR16004GK. They found the use of a cooling system with heat pipes. This provides additional cooling and provide overclocking potential. On the basis of our testing, the results of these modules were very impressive."
