Bjorn 3D "The OCZ PC3-16000 dominated the field. We'd not only have to say it dominated the field, but handed out a severe whipping to the competition. The OCZ PC3-16000 NVIDIA SLI-Ready Edition two Gig kit outperformed all of the other kits in every test we ran. In most tests, it not only outran, but thoroughly smashed, the competition. A lot of that is due to proper tuning and running it correctly. The advent of High Performance Enhanced Latency DDR3 has filled a niche that sorely needed filling. OCZ has done one heck of a good job with this PC3-16000 NVIDIA SLI-Ready Edition DDR3 2GB kit. It's the fastest ram we've tested to date!"

CPU Magazine: DDR Deathmatch "An SLI certification means that you can drop a pair of modules into an nForce-based motherboard with GeForce GPUs, and a similarly certified power supply, and not run into configuration issues. Part of that ease-of-use message involves supporting EPP (Enhanced Performance Profile) settings. So, when you install these OCZ DDR3 modules into a 790i-based board, for instance, it’ll expose certain settings that wouldn’t be available otherwise. Running at full-tilt, OCZ’s fastest available SLI-Ready Edition kit operates at 2,000MHz with latencies of 9-9-9-30."

Pro-Clockers "The OCZ SLI Edition DDR3 running at a default 2000MHZ is one of those sets of ram that would allow you to take you CPU to the upper regions of overclocking bliss. While running on our EVGA 790I board we were able to get very high front bus on our CPU without having the ram be a huge bottleneck. This was done without having to play with voltages on the side of the memory. And speaking of voltages the default 2000MHz is done with only 1.8 volts. Before when I was playing with other non-2000MHz it usually took 2 volts plus to achieve 2000MHz. This kit is EPP 2.0 ready meaning the BIOS will set up all the numbers for you when using an Nvidia chipset. We are greedy as a people and always want more. But this kit did not give in."

OverClock Intelligence Agency "There are benefits for running this and other DDR3-2000 memory on lesser motherboards. They offer plenty of headroom for overclocking on motherboards that don't allow for separate clocking of FSB and memory, such as my Gigabyte X48T-DQ6 board. There is also plenty of overhead for trying to attain tighter timings at lower speeds. One thing that sets the OCZ SLI DDR3-2000 kit above the others is that it does its thing at 1.8v, while most other similar kits run at 1.9v or 2.0v. That and the fact that it is just so pretty. It really is. The OCZ SLI DDR3-2000 2GB kit is a really incredible price for upper-end DDR3 memory, to say the least."
