Informaticaeasy (Italy) “The most interesting part of this keyboard: lighting. The blue and red colours allow you to easily identify the keys even in low light.
Another great effect: two long sides lit up in LED, on both short sides of the keyboard, which also illuminate the surrounding area with a certain intensity”

Driver Heaven "The keyboard utilises quite a sleek design and has a built in wrist rest that lifts your hands into a more comfortable typing position. The keyboard does have a very promising feature with the backlighting system...at night time the keys glow in a very impressive manner. The brightness is at an ideal level and displays consistency across the whole board. [The OCZ Illuminati] offers fantastic value with stylish aesthetics and great backlighting for the price."

Gamereactor (Norway) “The Illuminati keyboard from OCZ is a good keyboard that works well. It is good to write on, has a strong backlight and is flat to prevent wear in the wrist and hands. This is essential when writing a lot on the keyboard. The keys are just perfect and you can press the number keys at the same time without the threat of inaccuracy. Gamers continue to be in for a great time, with OCZ releasing great keyboards and mice."

Inside HW "Final verdict is: very good. This keyboard isn’t meant to be used by users that type whole day long at home or office, but for gamers it is perfect choice. It can blend itself in almost any gaming ambient and even contribute to its exclusivity."

Traficantes Hardware (Spain) “The OCZ Alchemy Illuminati is a classic keyboard with innovative touches, such as the rounded rest and striking illumination in red or blue. This is a great keyboard for day to day use, thanks to the inclusion of 14 multimedia and internet keys on the side of the keyboard. The feel of the keys is very nice and comfortable, the rest will help us greatly with writing, and more light is very useful when working under low light conditions.”

Under PC (Spain) “The OCZ Alchemy Illuminati has a great design, in addition to top ergonomics and exceptional lighting. The elegance of the Illuminati Alchemy is impressive, starting with a clean design coated rubber, which improves the feel of the keys, to the comfort of the keyboard. This keyboard is perfect for all those gaming enthusiasts who stay for hours in front of the PC.”

Tweak (Denmark) “Illuminati keyboard from OCZ is a very good keyboard for general use, gaming and LAN parties. The option to turn off the keyboard lights will welcome the mature user who does not want light in the keyboard when working. The keyboard could be used for a single computer at home. The many multimedia buttons work incredibly well, and Windows Vista to configures itself without the need to install the included drivers. The ease of use is absolutely top, since the keyboard just needs to be installed into a USB port."

PC Daily (Germany) “On the sides is a beautiful, lush, blue light show, which in a dark room provides considerable lighting . Here you have not only illuminated buttons, but also a lighted desk. If you are not a big fan of blue lighting, you can switch immediately to red lights. You can see a significant difference between the blue and red lights. The red lights, especially with the keys, are a bit more intense. The Illuminati also offers a rotating knob to adjust the intensity of the lighting."

Revioo (France) “The OCZ Alchemy Illuminati has everything you need. The Logitech Illuminated Keyboard, its main competitor, costs just under 70 €, while the OCZ keyboard trades at less than 35 €! At half the price we get two colors for llumination and more keyboard shortcuts. With gaming, there is a little less stiff keys as the fingers and hands are moving less. So if you are a gamer the keyboard will please you. If it’s price, design and lighting you want, the Illuminati could be for you.”

IT-Review "From the ergonomics side, we would like to mention the very good wrist support which provides a comfortable rest so your hands are not in the air while typing. We have been using OCZ’s Alchemy Illuminati as our primary keyboard for a week and our impression is that it’s a good product to look at. On the plus side we would mention the price which is around half of what the competition is asking for. This would make an excellent keyboard for an HTPC which is usually used in darkened rooms."
