The OCZ Eclipse shines a new light on what it means to be a gaming mouse. The most affordable performance laser mouse features on-board-memory and user-defined “multi-profiles” for a mouse like no other. Your mouse, your rules! Configure various keyboard commands and macro functions within the mouse to truly customize your gaming experience, and take your settings anywhere for instantaneous "plug and play" functionality.

Gaming-Grade Double Laser Engine
The OCZ Eclipse gaming grade double laser engine provides uncompromising high-precision and ultra-fast tracking power. It offers accurate and predictable motion reporting up to 60 inches per second, performance over a wide range of speeds, and accelerations covering the demands for various gaming applications in either low 100dpi or turbo charged 2,400 dpi settings.

Onboard Memory
The powerful microprocessor supports data-upload from the PC to the onboard memory of the OCZ Eclipse. Buttons can be programmed to keep all selected functions or commands in the mouse embedded in the on board memory, to instantaneously “plug and play” your settings on any computer. This patented design provides users a wide range to re-define their own mouse and eliminate the need for additional software to unlock the additional mouse functions.

Switch Between Multi-Profiles
Four unique profiles make the OCZ Eclipse gaming mouse perfectly suitable for both working and gaming. With the turn of a switch revert to the regular function back to your own gaming function…its like owning two mice in one! With real-time profile change there is no delaying from the time you work to when you want to play.

True Hardware dpi selection
Change the speed anytime during combat to never miss a moment of action. The dpi toggle with LED status indicator gives on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment to match mouse speed to your game environment. Via the application software, users can redefine the dpi number as they wish from 100 to 2400.

Ergonomic Style
Looks are just the beginning! The OCZ Eclipse gaming mouse features superb ergonomics for hours of fatigue-free use and ultimate comfort. The professional compact shape provides users an unsurpassed experience during combat, and the stylish body will have other gamers turning their heads when they see you play.

Adjustable Weight
Select your ideal mouse weight with the built-in cartridge containing up to four metal weights (18g), giving you the choice to adjust your mouse weight anywhere or anytime.

Powerful Software
The special design of the OCZ Eclipse application software brings you an easy way to reset your gaming profiles and various mouse features. You can change all the defaulted functions of each profile to be your own personalized favorites, including data strings and command libraries.

*The Eclipse's 2-year limited warranty does not cover problems or damage resulting from accidents, abuse, misapplication, unauthorized repair, modification or disassembly or cosmetic wear and tear to the finish of the mouse as a result of standard operation

“I really enjoy the mouse and find it to be very precise with excellent tracking. All of the buttons are easy to reach and with all the customizations available anyone should be happy. The DPI toggle switch makes it easy to flip between the four different DPI settings to tailor in game to what style or class I was playing. With the Eclipse mouse, OCZ is showing they are listening to gamers needs and giving them what they want. With a large range of customization and onboard profiles, the Eclipse brings a lot to the table. Dual lasers make for accurate tracking and on the fly DPI switching makes it easy to go from running and gunning to sniping in no time. Overall I am impressed with what OCZ has offered with the Eclipse as I'm sure most gamers would also.”

Tech Power Up
“The Eclipse is very different in that regard since it has an almost symmetric shade. This also means that it can be used by left handed people. This mouse does a good job considering its price of only 24.99 € which is to be considered low for a mouse featuring a 3G laser sensor which allows you to use all sorts of surfaces to run it on. The low lift off distance is really neat as well and is a feature that it implements way better than mice based on infrared sensors. For most medium and high sensitivity gamers this mouse will be great if you like its shape. In comparison to old Razer mice, like the Diamondback or Copperhead, the shape of the Eclipse is better in terms of ergonomics - for people with normal sized hands.”

“The surface of the Eclipse is smooth and soft and while I thought I might miss the grips that my other mouse had on the sides, I didn't. The mouse was easy to hold on to and I never felt as though I was losing control or losing my grip on it. All of the buttons are within easy reach and felt comfortable. Even the clickable scroll wheel is easy to depress, something that I rarely find when testing mice. The included software is pretty easy to use and for the most part, self-explanatory. Being able to bind the keys to any keystroke and creating macros is nice. As of writing, the OCZ Eclipse Gaming Mouse sells for only $24.99 at a popular online retailer, which is a pretty fair price. If a narrow mouse is your cup of tea, the Eclipse is certainly worth a look for gamers on a budget.”

"To my mind, the OCZ Eclipse is giving you a lot of mouse for your money in this particular instance, staking a claim as one of the cheaper dedicated gaming mice on the market. Giving the functionality it offers coupled with a very nice design, I'd say it's very easily worth some consideration at that price tag."

“The Eclipse is the most ergonomically designed mouse I’ve ever seen. Honestly, I can’t ever remember using a mouse that was even as remotely comfortable as the Eclipse and it really makes the mouse worth the price tag by itself. OCZ Technology has included some really great features. Its superb DPI sensor is razor sharp, and it meets the quota of gaming mouse’s today by featuring the standard five buttons with left to right scrolling. Also, the staff over OCZ seems to truly understand that there are different types of games out there and each has their own specific needs for their respective genres. I have a strong feeling that its ergonomical and durable design is going to be embracing my hand for quite some time, which makes the mouse well worth every penny. Trust me, you owe it to yourself to get this mouse.”

"The ergonomics of the mouse is excellent: the hand adheres to it very naturally. The mouse has a pleasing color hybrid: the scroll wheel lights up in yellow while on the top we have four LEDs that can light up in blue, depending on the particular regulation of PPE. It automatically saves the functions programmed into the memory and configurations can be used on any machine."

"The OCZ Eclipse mouse a is very comfortable mouse to use even after several hours of use. The hand adherence is good and all the buttons are well situated and it’s not easy to press a button you don’t desire to. The adjustable DPI feature is a very useful feature for gamers which play a large amount of different games. Here the preprogrammed profiles also come in extremely handy. This is a mouse which we can recommend with pleasure!"

"I found that gaming was a breeze and found no initial impairment of my gaming when switching to the Eclipse. It was comfortable to use after hours of gaming and still have yet to get a hand cramp from this mouse. While it's advertised as a gaming mouse it still works great for everyday use. It offers quite a number of features, some that I would have never even thought of."

“The precision sensor is brutish for a laser sensor. Another thing that pleased was the cable management. It's a new and welcome. Both mouse sensors are equipped with a double laser beam, balance is very good and works ok on almost any type of pad. Both mice are available at a good price and are well designed.”

"There's a lot to like about the Eclipse, from its hyper-frictionless feet to the toggle switch for changing DPI around. This is one of the slickest mice we've ever used, practically sliding across a surface without any ouside intervention. If you're looking for a smaller mouse, with good features and reasonable price, this is your puppy."

“A lot of gamers will always buy a mouse dedicated to gaming – one, that is more sensitive. OCZ's Eclipse is one of them – can provide up to 4 DPI adjustments. The surface is based on an anti-slip good quality rubber material that is very convenient in use and perfect for playing games. In addition this mouse is easy to install, driver-free.”

“The OCZ Eclipse mouse is designed for extreme gamers. Although this is billed as a gaming mouse, it works very well for everyday use through incorporating counterweights. It is highly customizable with infinite profiles. It has a double laser that gives incredible accuracy and can be configured on the fly with the PPP sides. The mouse buttons are narrow with smooth and soft surfaces, with great grip. All buttons have easy access and are comfortable. It’s easy to move the profiles by pressing the button below. Software is easy to use and easy creation of macros."

"The peripheral has everything a gaming-grade mouse requires: adjustable weight, function buttons, individual profiles, and high precision. The rubberized body is very comfortable and can be used of hours without being tiring. The Eclipse handled more than adequately in two weeks of intense usage, both as a work mouse and a gaming-grade device, over a tabletop surface and a mouse pad. In final analysis, the Eclipse offers everything a gamer looks for in a gaming-grade mouse at a reasonable price. It’s a recommended acquisition all the way."

"In testing, the OCZ Eclipse was quite comfortable to use. All of the buttons were easy to reach and didn't require any awkward hand contortions. The wheel provided some quiet tactile feedback when rotated and we didn't have any problems accidentally activating the scroll when pressing the wheel as a middle button. The smooth grippy texture covering the entire mouse made it comfortable to use for extended periods of time. Tracking was also excellent. We never encountered any lag, delay or weird mouse movement with the OCZ Eclipse and it was as accurate as any we've had the chance to use. These features help it stand apart from the many other gaming mice that exist today. When taken into account with the price, the OCZ Eclipse Gaming Mouse becomes hard to ignore."
