With the ability to also perform at 2-2-2-6 at DDR433, the OCZ Platinum 3500 is certainly the fastest module at that speed we have tested. In fact, we were able to overclock to an astounding DD450 at 2-2-2-6 timings, although it required 2.85V for stability of the memory.

These modules not only look good, they also perform really well and can reach a higher FSB than advertised.
The highest overclock we got was 520MHZ at CAS 2.5 (CAS 3 is standard for PC4000)

The OCZ Platinum EL DDR400 Dual channel memory kit is a great kit. The style, high polish and performance (in most cases) make these modules a great choice. Looking at the benchmarks and the differences in each, I can strongly say that given the circumstances (motherboard specifically), the modules performed quite good and exceeded a couple of expectations in the PCMark and PiFast tests.

OCZ has been able to get DDR400 Cas 2 registered memory to us. If other memory makers will follow suite remains to be seen. For now this is the fastest memory for Opteron or Athlon 64 FX we have ever tested. If you are looking to get the most performance out of your AMD64 dual channel memory CPU then OCZ's PC3200 EL Dual Channel registered ECC memory should be on your radar.

Without a doubt, OCZ has produced the fastest DDR memory ever tested at AnandTech. It is rated at DDR533 and performs at that speed using better than rated timings. The highest stable overclock of the 4200EL was an astounding 280FSB at 1:1 or synchronous settings. At the other end of the scale, OCZ 4200EL performs at the Intel chipset rated DDR400 using fast CAS 2 timings.

While the Corsair seemed to take the lead at DDR500 speeds, as soon as we started overclocking the OCZ memory it really pulled away and for good reason it received our newest award, the TweakTown Performance Award.

If your platform is the Epox 4PCA3+ and your goal is overclocking at the highest FSB attainable, then the OCZ does pull ahead.
